ALLTYNEX Second

ALLTYNEX Second is a classic shoot 'em up that launched on December 11, 2014 as a complete, self-contained game. It shipped with a fixed set of 5 stages, game modes, and mechanics — no post-launch content updates or expansions were ever planned or delivered for the game itself. The only DLC ever released was the Original Soundtrack, which launched alongside the game on December 11, 2014. No additional gameplay content, expansions, or updates have been announced or released at any point. The publisher history had a notable transition: Nyu Media, the original publisher, announced on June 15, 2022 that it was closing down and transferring publishing responsibilities for the ALLTYNEX trilogy to SITER SKAIN (the developer) and subsequently to Henteko Doujin. Henteko Doujin confirmed on July 7, 2022 that the transfer was complete and released a patch that added Japanese language support, improved soundtrack quality, and fixed a Windows 10 display issue for a related game. This was a maintenance update tied to the publisher transition, not new gameplay content. More recently, Henteko Doujin has used this game's store page to announce other titles in their shmup catalog — Revolgear Zero (February 18, 2026) and Kamikaze Empire (June 8, 2026) — and to promote the Steam Bullet Fest 2026 sale event. These posts are publisher promotional announcements for other games, not development updates for ALLTYNEX Second itself. The game launched as a finished product in 2014 and has never entered a post-launch content development cycle. It remains available for purchase and is considered complete.
