Alpha League HD launched on February 14, 2025 as a free-to-play autobattler. Since launch, the game has received a consistent stream of updates including new heroes, seasonal content, trait system reworks, new maps, and balance patches — most recently a hotfix on March 3, 2026 and a hero update (Lilith and Siya) in the March 2026 update announced on February 16, 2026. However, the developer's own communications reveal a significant and unresolved financial crisis. On June 30, 2025, the studio publicly disclosed that Beaveroid had run into serious financial challenges after losing key external client contracts that had been funding development. Then, on February 16, 2026, developer BluishRain confirmed that the studio has since "scaled down" and that they are now operating as a solo developer — personally covering server costs while game revenue flows to investors rather than back into development. Despite this, the store description states "We will continue supporting the game as long as you are still a part of the community," and the developer has continued to ship updates through early 2026. The game's free-to-play nature and seasonal structure (with a Battle Pass) indicate an ongoing service model, but the financial strain and solo-developer situation create genuine uncertainty about how long meaningful support can continue. There are no announced future content commitments beyond what has already shipped.
