Amaranthine launched on April 6, 2016 and received a burst of post-launch activity in its first few weeks: a bug-fix patch on April 7, a Linux achievement hotfix on April 17, and a major "Elite" update (version 1.1) on April 26, 2016, which added a new game mode and Steam leaderboard integration. The original soundtrack was also released as DLC on April 26, 2016.
