Apartment 666 launched on August 3, 2016. The developer posted two small patch updates in the weeks following launch — one on August 14, 2016 adding achievements and scares, and one on September 22, 2016 adding trading cards. The September post briefly mentioned "a huge update is in the works with longer gameplay and a larger Apartment," but no such update was ever announced, shown, or released. There have been zero developer communications of any kind since September 22, 2016 — nearly a decade of complete silence. The teased update never materialized and was never followed up on. The game launched as a small indie horror title and has received no post-launch content of substance. It can be considered a finished product as shipped, with the brief early patch activity simply representing launch stabilization.

Play as Julian an unexpecting 12 year old who discovers what happend to his family. You try to exit your Apartment only to find yourself waking up back in your room. However, nothing is the same, some rooms are opened, furniture is moved, there is somebody else with you.
