Apparition launched into Early Access on October 31, 2018, and remains there as of today, June 27, 2026. The only developer communication directly about this game was a pre-launch devlog on August 24, 2018, in which the solo developer (MrCiastku) described expanding the game's location and adding new craftable items, noting that "there are still more things to come." That is the last known communication about Apparition's development — there have been no patch notes, devlogs, roadmaps, or status updates since the game launched into Early Access nearly eight years ago. The publisher, No Gravity Games, has been active on Steam posting news about other titles in their catalog (Alder's Blood, REKT: High Octane Stunts, Good Night Knight, and others), but none of these posts mention Apparition. With the game still formally listed as Early Access, still purchasable, and carrying the developer's own statement that more content was planned — but with zero developer communication since August 2018 — it is deeply unclear whether development is continuing or has been quietly abandoned.
