Evaluation
ARENA GODS entered Steam Early Access on October 16, 2017. In the months following launch, developer Supertype was relatively active: they posted a near-term roadmap on October 18, 2017 outlining planned features (bug fixes, a cinematic kill replay, and a new arena theme with ten stages), and then delivered on most of those promises with feature updates through late 2017. The new arena theme shipped on December 22, 2017, and a final bug fix was posted on January 5, 2018.
After January 5, 2018, all developer communication stopped entirely. The game has never received a 1.0 launch or any announcement that Early Access development was concluded. It remains listed as an Early Access title with no further updates in over eight years. There is no indication from the developer about whether development is continuing, suspended, or abandoned.
