Evaluation

Arena Renovation launched on January 19, 2024 and has been receiving updates since then. The developer announced a major "Career Mode" expansion on August 26, 2025 (Devlog #25), describing it as "the biggest gameplay expansion for Arena Renovation so far" — a full business layer covering renovation contracts, equipment management, venue purchasing, and event hosting. A second devlog on October 19, 2025 went deeper on Career Mode's systems. On September 15, 2025, the developer released a Skatepark update and explicitly described it as "a bonus object that we are adding while waiting for Career Mode," confirming at that time that Career Mode was still in active development and not yet shipped. However, since October 2025, there have been no further developer communications specifically about Arena Renovation or Career Mode. The news posts from November 2025 onward — including updates on August 24, 2026 — are all announcements about other games in the FreeMind portfolio (IT Specialist Simulator, House Builder 2, Junkyard Builder, Medieval Machines Builder, and others leaving Early Access). Career Mode, which was the outstanding announced commitment for this game, has not been mentioned in any post since October 2025, and no release date was ever given. With approximately 10 months of silence on this specific feature, it is unclear whether Career Mode is still being developed, has been delayed indefinitely, or has been quietly deprioritized.
