Bunker Builder Simulator: Prologue

Bunker Builder Simulator: Prologue is a free standalone prologue released on June 7, 2023, explicitly designed as a preview of the full game. By its nature, a prologue is a self-contained, finished product — it is not itself a game receiving ongoing content development. The store description and the launch announcement both make clear that the prologue exists to give players a taste of gameplay while the full game is developed separately. The developer shipped one major update to the prologue on June 25, 2024, which added a new inventory system, revamped UI, a remastered perk system, an excavator, improved maps, a flashlight, enhanced graphics, and upgraded contracts. That same post promoted the forthcoming full game (Bunker Builder Simulator, App ID 1868210) and encouraged wishlisting it — framing the full game's release as the next step, not further updates to the prologue itself. Since that June 25, 2024 update, there have been no further developer communications about the prologue. The prologue's update history effectively ended with that major patch. As a free demo/preview product, it has no DLC, no season pass, and no announced future content of its own. The full game's development is a separate product and does not affect the prologue's completion status. The prologue shipped as a bounded preview experience and received one significant improvement update — it is complete.
