Arsenal of Democracy: A Hearts of Iron Game

Arsenal of Democracy launched in February 2010 and has received a steady stream of updates over the years from its volunteer community development team at BL-Logic. Four major content updates are on record: version 1.10 (October 29, 2016), version 1.11 (November 11, 2018), and version 1.12 (July 27, 2020), each bringing significant new nations, events, AI overhauls, and engine improvements. Version 1.11 in particular was a substantial technical undertaking, replacing the game's rendering and networking engines to ensure compatibility with modern operating systems. The most recent developer communication of any kind was the release of version 1.12 on July 27, 2020. Since then — nearly six years — there have been no further posts, beta branches, status updates, or announcements of upcoming content. No unreleased DLC is listed on the store, and there are no roadmaps or developer statements pointing to future updates. The historical pattern between major releases ran roughly 2–3 years (1.10 in October 2016, 1.11 in November 2018, 1.12 in July 2020). Given that it is now June 2026 — nearly six years since the last release — the game has far exceeded any reasonable extension of that pattern with no communication whatsoever. There is no evidence of planned future content, and the game appears to have concluded its post-launch update cycle with version 1.12.
