Atomic Heart launched on February 20, 2023 and received four major story DLC expansions: Annihilation Instinct (August 2, 2023), Trapped in Limbo (February 6, 2024), Enchantment Under the Sea (January 28, 2025), and Blood on Crystal (April 16, 2026). The April 16, 2026 launch post for Blood on Crystal explicitly described it as "the final DLC#4," and a follow-up developer post on June 1, 2026 stated plainly: "The first chapter of Atomic Heart is complete." All nine items in the DLC list have been released, and there are no unreleased entries. A July 23, 2026 cross-promotional collaboration with Reverse: 1999 is a marketing event in another game — not new content for Atomic Heart itself. Mundfish has pivoted its development focus to new projects announced in June 2025: Atomic Heart 2, The CUBE, and ILL. While the "first chapter" framing and the Atomic Heart 2 announcement indicate the universe will continue in a sequel, no additional content for the original game has been announced or hinted at. The game is content-complete as of the Blood on Crystal release on April 16, 2026.
