Evaluation

b 2 has just completed its transition from Early Access to full release. On August 25, 2026, the developer posted that the game was expected to fully leave Early Access by August 29, 2026, and on August 26, 2026, they announced the full release had occurred — describing it as an "overhauled experience." Prior to this, the game had been in Early Access since May 2020. A February 2021 developer update acknowledged that some planned features (such as additional NPCs requiring network synchronization work) remained unresolved, and the timing of a full release was uncertain. The developer continued maintaining the game, issuing a security patch as recently as October 3, 2025. Now that the game has officially launched, it is too early to know whether the developer intends to continue adding content. The developer has not announced any post-launch roadmap, DLC, or future updates, and there is no established post-1.0 update pattern to analyze yet. The game is free-to-play and online multiplayer, which could suggest ongoing support, but the developer has made no such commitments.
