Backstage Pass launched on August 22, 2016 as a complete visual novel/simulation game with a defined set of features: over 15 endings, full English voice acting, 80+ CGs, and an original soundtrack. Developer activity since launch has been limited to maintenance work: an engine update posted on December 18, 2020, and a follow-up bug fix on January 1, 2021, both focused on technical compatibility rather than new content.
