Balsa Model Flight Simulator is no longer available for purchase on Steam. The developer, Floating Origin Interactive, made an official decision to wind down this game in favor of its successor: KitHack Model Club (Steam App ID 2107090), which launched into Early Access on April 15, 2024. A developer post from that date explicitly confirmed that Balsa owners would receive a free copy of KitHack Model Club as a thank-you for their early support, and a prior announcement on April 4, 2024 explained that Balsa was pulled back from Early Access years ago specifically to allow the team to make deeper structural changes — resulting in the fully rebuilt KitHack Model Club. With no purchase options currently available and the developer having publicly transitioned to a successor title, Balsa Model Flight Simulator is effectively delisted.
