Banebush

Banebush is a short visual novel that launched on December 25, 2024 as a self-described "short" complete story with multiple endings. The store description presents it as a finished, self-contained experience with no mention of planned expansions or additional content. Since launch, the developer has released a series of quality-of-life and polish updates: v1.1.0 (January 6, 2025) improved text skip, visuals, and the English translation; v1.1.1 (January 16, 2025) updated the engine and adjusted audio; v1.2.0 (June 26, 2025) added Korean, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese language support; v1.3.0 (October 26, 2025) added full voice acting for all dialogues; and a follow-up patch on December 7, 2025 corrected English localization inaccuracies. A standalone soundtrack DLC ("Тварюк Soundtrack") was released on January 31, 2025 and is the only DLC listed. All of these updates are refinements and enhancements to the existing content — no new story content, chapters, or expansions have been released or announced. The developer has not communicated any plans for additional narrative content. With no unreleased DLC, no announced future content, and a game described as intentionally short and complete, Banebush launched as a finished product. The post-launch updates represent the developer polishing and improving what was already there, not building toward new content.
