Banzai Escape

Banzai Escape launched on February 29, 2016 as the first entry in the Banzai Universe series. The developer described it in the store description as a "prologue" to a larger story. After launch, it received feature updates in April 2016 (adding voice dialogue and graphic options) and a soundtrack DLC in June 2016. The developer then shifted focus to building a sequel, announcing Banzai Escape 2 in June and July 2017 and ultimately releasing it on February 18, 2020. The original game received one final patch on March 8, 2020, which made minor gameplay and stability fixes. There have been no developer communications about further content for Banzai Escape since March 8, 2020. All DLC (the soundtrack) has been released. No roadmap, unreleased DLC, or future content commitments exist for this title. The developer's attention moved to the sequel, and this original game launched and was updated as a complete, self-contained product.
