BDSM: Big Drunk Satanic Massacre launched on October 10, 2019 and received a solid run of post-launch updates. Within the first few months, the developer shipped a Halloween bonus update (October 30, 2019), a new survival mode (November 27, 2019), a Christmas mode with balance changes and localization (December 19, 2019), and a coronavirus-themed free demo (March 23, 2020). A one-life mode followed in November 2020, and the final recorded update — adding a new Warehouse level and minor fixes — arrived on January 25, 2021. Both DLC items (the soundtrack and an adult-only content pack) released the day after launch and are fully delivered. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no announced future content, no roadmap, and no developer communications of any kind since January 25, 2021. The last update was over five years ago, and the update pattern — which had been fairly active through 2019–2020 — has long since gone quiet with no indication of further plans. The game launched as a complete product and received bonus content updates for roughly 15 months before going silent. It appears to be finished.

About this game
Big Drunk Satanic Massacre is basically a shooter with strong RPG elements - not that rocket propelled gun, though. The game itself takes place in Hell where the main hero, Lou, is to find booze and rescue the hottest Mistress from the clutches of a fat clown. The game consists of four levels / chapters representing different areas of Hell, such as the hellish Big Wack fast food café, Skeleton Slums and the Red Light District. The idea behind those levels is to kill specific bosses. Each boss represents a unique multistage fight and it is pretty challenging.
The player has to choose between six weapons and one magical ability. The main feature of the game is that Lou is healed by booze. The more he drinks, the more his blood alcohol level increases, which is sort of good for him. As a result there may be either negative or positive effects.
