Evaluation

Bedfellows FRENZY launched on February 22, 2017 as a complete, stable product. The developer explicitly chose a standard (non-Early Access) release, shipping the full single-player story, all 10 levels, 5 bosses, unlockables, cut scenes, and an original soundtrack. The soundtrack DLC was released two days later on February 24, 2017. At launch, the developer posted enthusiastic plans for future improvements — including Mac/Linux builds, additional co-op modes, possible Steam Workshop support, and even potential online multiplayer. However, these were framed as aspirations rather than firm commitments, and the developer acknowledged some were conditional on sales ("online multiplayer is NOT something I'm promising"). The last developer communication of any kind was the launch post on February 23, 2017. No further updates, patches, or announcements have appeared since then — now over nine years later. None of the post-launch plans materialized into announced or released content. With only one DLC (the soundtrack, already released), no unreleased DLC on the store, no roadmap updates, and no developer communication since February 23, 2017, the game is best understood as having launched as a finished product. The post-launch improvement plans from the launch post were never delivered and have long since lapsed. The game is complete as shipped.
Evidence
Launch post confirms the game released as a full, stable product with complete story, levels, bosses, and soundtrack. Developer outlines aspirational post-launch plans (Mac/Linux, co-op improvements, possible online multiplayer) but qualifies them heavily — online multiplayer is explicitly 'NOT a promise' and contingent on sales. This is the last developer communication on record.
