Bleeding Edge launched on March 24, 2020 and received a burst of post-launch content updates through the summer of that year. The developer shipped two new fighters (Mekko on April 30, 2020 and Azrael on July 30, 2020), two new maps (HydroCore on May 20, 2020 and Facility 665 on July 30, 2020), competitive leaderboards, a custom queue mode, map modifiers, and a large number of new skins and cosmetics. The last major content update — the Azrael patch — was posted on July 30, 2020. There have been no developer communications of any kind since that date. That means the developer has been completely silent for nearly six years, from July 30, 2020 through today, June 25, 2026. The single released DLC (The Punk Pack) shipped on launch day. No unreleased DLC exists on the store. No roadmap, announcement, or developer statement points to any future content. The game's store description contains no references to planned updates or ongoing development. Given the complete cessation of developer activity since July 30, 2020, the game is best understood as having concluded its content cycle with the Azrael update.
