Blood and Gold: Caribbean!

Blood and Gold: Caribbean! launched on December 10, 2015 and received a series of post-launch updates and DLC over its first two years. Major content additions included the "All Hands Ahoy!" free DLC (May 27, 2016), the Blood and Gold OST (September 15, 2016), The Zombiest Adventures paid DLC (June 22, 2017), and a final zombie-themed story campaign update on December 14, 2017. A pivotal developer communication came in April 2017, when the new Snowbird Games administration published a formal project review. The post explicitly stated that "in its current state the game should be considered feature complete" and explained that further meaningful development on the existing engine was not technically feasible — adding even minor content would destabilize the game. The studio announced its creative energy would shift to a new project (Feral Blue) built on Unreal Engine 4. A December 2019 post confirmed this direction, stating that the studio was focusing efforts on Feral Blue and that while they were "thinking of B&G too," there was "no set plan of what can be added to the game" and "no resources" allocated to it. The most recent developer communication was a New Year's message on December 25, 2020, which contained no announcements of new Blood and Gold content. All DLC has been released. The developer has not posted any news about the game since December 2020. The last substantive content update shipped in December 2017. Given the explicit "feature complete" declaration, the technical constraints preventing further development, the studio's pivot to other projects, and years of silence, the game is complete.
