Bombslinger launched into Early Access and received consistent updates throughout 2016 and 2017, gradually building out its content. On April 11, 2018, the game officially left Early Access, with Mode4 describing it as the full 1.0 release — including "the last slice of content." The March 28, 2018 pre-launch post explicitly described Update #15 as "most likely the last major update before the proper release," and the launch post confirmed the game had reached content-complete state. There are no unreleased DLC items listed on the store, no roadmap or developer communications announcing post-launch content plans, and no updates of any kind after the April 11, 2018 launch post.
