Evaluation

Botology launched on June 24, 2015 and received a small burst of post-launch content: four survival mode map DLCs released between July 6 and August 17, 2015, along with two feature patches in July 2015. All four DLCs are released, and no unreleased DLC entries exist on the store. The last content shipped for Botology was the "Barazin" survival map on August 17, 2015. After that point, Black Lime Studio shifted their public communications entirely to promoting their other games — a new game announcement in December 2015, another in March 2018, another in July 2017, and one more in May 2019 — with no further updates, patches, or announcements related to Botology itself. The developer has never explicitly stated that Botology is finished, but the complete absence of any Botology-specific communication since August 2015, combined with all announced DLC having shipped and the studio's clear pivot to other projects, indicates the game is a complete, self-contained product.
