Evaluation

Bravery Network Online entered Steam Early Access on February 16, 2021. In the months that followed, GLOAM shipped content at a regular pace: a new fighter (Grace) and ranked matchmaking arrived on February 26, 2021, followed by cosmetic additions in March, another new fighter (Pema) in April, and a quality-of-life and accessibility update in June 2021. That June 15, 2021 update was the last official communication from the developer. The game has remained completely silent since that date — now nearly five years ago as of June 2026. The April 2021 patch notes explicitly referenced two fighters (Volante and Extrovert) as "unreleased as of right now," signaling that more roster content was planned at the time. The game has never announced a 1.0 launch, a completion of its Early Access goals, or any reason for the development pause. With the game still listed as Early Access, still purchasable, and the developer having gone silent for an extended period with no explanation, the status of ongoing development is deeply uncertain.
