Breached launched on June 22, 2016. Following release, the developer shipped a Linux build with bug fixes on August 4, 2016, and added a free "Story Mode" on September 14, 2016 — a new gameplay option that removed restrictions for repeat playthroughs and unlocked additional endings. That September 2016 post represents the last meaningful content addition to the game. The only other developer communication after that was a brief sale announcement on September 9, 2017, which mentioned working "behind the scenes to patch and update the game," but no further updates or communications have appeared since then. Both DLC items (the Original Soundtrack and Bonus Content pack) were released on launch day and are fully available. There are no unreleased DLC, no roadmap commitments, and no developer statements indicating future content. The game appears to have launched as a self-contained narrative experience, received a handful of post-launch updates through mid-2016, and has been complete since the Story Mode addition in September 2016.

The land and settlements around you have crumbled to ruin, broken buildings and jagged shards all that remains.
