Brine

Brine (originally called Strayed) launched into Early Access on May 7, 2016 as a survival game. The developer posted updates fairly regularly through 2016 and into 2017, adding systems like hunger, thirst, crafting, and combat. On June 21, 2017, the developer released a reworked version of the game under the name "Brine," describing it as a complete overhaul with more content — this was the last communication from the developer. Since that date, there have been no further news posts, patches, or updates of any kind. The store page still carries the original Early Access disclaimer stating the game is a work in progress, but the game has seen no developer activity for nearly nine years as of June 2026. The game remains purchasable and in Early Access, but with no sign the developer is still working on it.
