Bubble People

Bubble People is a free-to-play point-and-click game that launched on October 13, 2021, described by its developer as a short, self-contained experience lasting about 15–20 minutes with an endpoint mode. The developer, Liujiajun, explicitly described it as "a simple little game I made in my spare time during the development of other projects" — framing it from the outset as a finished, standalone product rather than an ongoing project. The game received one meaningful content addition after launch: the "A Little Love Story" update (version 1.5) on September 15, 2022. Beyond that, subsequent posts have been limited to a handful of bug fixes and studio-wide sale announcements promoting the developer's growing catalogue of other titles. Since October 2022, no further content updates have been released for Bubble People, and the developer has made no statements suggesting any additional content is planned. The most recent communications from Liujiajun — including a December 2025 sale post and an August 2025 new game launch announcement — focus entirely on other titles. The game's store description has not been updated to suggest anything new is coming. All evidence points to Bubble People having reached its completed state with the September 15, 2022 content update. It shipped as a small, intentionally limited experience and has been in maintenance-complete status since then.
