Call of Duty: WWII launched on November 2, 2017 and received a steady stream of post-launch updates through mid-2018. The Season Pass (released November 3, 2017) included DLC map packs, and the developer ran a series of community events — Winter Siege (December 2017), Shamrock & Awe (March 2018), Blitzkrieg (April 2018), Attack of the Undead (May 2018), and Liberty Strike (July 2018) — each bringing new content such as maps, weapons, game modes, and cosmetics. The most recent developer communication on Steam is the July 3, 2018 update, which launched the Liberty Strike event and introduced new weapons, a new Division, and new Basic Trainings. All three DLC listings are marked as released, with no unreleased content remaining on the store. There have been no developer posts of any kind since July 3, 2018 — nearly eight years of silence as of today (June 26, 2026). The developer has not announced any additional content or future plans since that final update. Call of Duty titles follow an annual release cycle, and Sledgehammer Games moved on to subsequent entries in the franchise. The content for this game is complete.
