Evaluation
Cardaclysm: Shards of the Four launched into Early Access on July 29, 2020 and graduated to its full 1.0 release on February 26, 2021. The 1.0 launch post explicitly declared: "The world of Cardaclysm: Shards of the Four is now complete." That update delivered the final boss (Death), the Realm of Death endgame zone, new cards, artifacts, and the end credits sequence — everything the Early Access roadmap had promised.
Following launch, the developer shipped several feature and balance patches through April 2022, responding to community feedback. The only activity since then is a security patch from October 7, 2025, issued by the publisher (Headup) to address a Unity engine vulnerability — routine maintenance with no content implications.
There is only one DLC listed — the game's soundtrack, which released back in August 2020. No additional DLC has been announced or listed as unreleased. The developer made no mention of post-launch content expansions at any point after the 1.0 release, and no roadmap or future content plan has been published since launch. The game shipped as a complete product on February 26, 2021, and all evidence points to content development having concluded on that date.
