Cards of Eternity: The Wheel of Time

Cards of Eternity: The Wheel of Time has been officially retired by Aether Games Inc. On July 17, 2025, the developer announced that the game had come to a close, the servers had been shut down, and a brand-new successor game called Battle for Randland was being built from the ground up. A follow-up post on September 9, 2025 confirmed the retirement and directed players to wishlist the new title. Players who owned content in Cards of Eternity were offered a conversion system to carry their assets into Battle for Randland. Despite the game still technically showing as purchasable in the store metadata provided, it is a server-dependent online card game — the developer has explicitly confirmed servers are no longer active, meaning the game is effectively unplayable. The game's content development ended with its retirement announcement on July 17, 2025.
