Cargo Simulator entered Early Access on September 30, 2025, and Sincapp Games has maintained an active update cadence since launch. The most significant post-launch release was a major Progression & Economy Overhaul on December 18, 2025, which completely reworked game balance, the employee system, carrier AI, and introduced several new systems (licenses, achievements, shelf filtering, and more). Surrounding that, the developer shipped multiple feature patches adding meaningful improvements — delivery reports, a 5-day calendar, key rebinding, carrier task assignment, and a feedback panel — as well as a steady series of bug fix hotfixes. The most recent update was a stability hotfix on February 16, 2026. As an Early Access title, the game is explicitly unfinished by design. The consistent update history across the roughly five months since launch demonstrates that the developer remains actively engaged with the game. There has been no developer communication since February 16, 2026 (approximately seven months ago as of today), which is a longer gap than the prior update rhythm, but given the game's Early Access status and active prior cadence, this does not yet clearly indicate the project has stalled — it may reflect a longer development cycle for a larger upcoming update.
