Carnage Offering launched on April 28, 2022 and has been receiving substantial updates ever since. After an active period of feature patches in 2022, development entered a quieter phase before resuming in earnest in 2026. In 2026, the developer has shipped three major updates in quick succession. On April 4, 2026, "Remaster Part One" arrived, introducing 24 new cinematic scenes, full French voice acting performed by real actors, difficulty rebalancing, and graphical enhancements. On May 31, 2026, a follow-up update expanded those cinematics with English and Spanish voice acting and further weapon and enemy balancing. Most recently, on September 19, 2026 — today — the developer completed a full migration from Unreal Engine 4.24 to Unreal Engine 5.8, bringing modernized graphics settings, NVIDIA DLSS support, extensive collision reworks across 37 enemies and bosses, full key rebinding, Steam Deck optimization, and audio improvements. Within that September 19, 2026 update, the developer explicitly notes that enemy behavior reworks are ongoing and "will gradually continue across other enemies," indicating further development work is in progress. The "Remaster Part One" label from April also implies subsequent parts. No statement declaring development complete has been made at any point.
