Casino Island Simulator entered Steam Early Access on October 22, 2024. After launch, Clap Games posted a series of feature updates: a November 2, 2024 patch added pole dancing, additional cashier options, and new decorations; a November 14, 2024 patch added online casino tables and a second floor; and a February 4, 2025 patch added playable blackjack, playable roulette, and a new area. The November 2, 2024 post included a substantial "What's next?" list promising features like a new city expansion, driveable cars, a housing system, more casino machines, and more advanced AI. The February 4, 2025 post also stated that more exciting updates are coming soon. However, the developer has not posted any updates since February 4, 2025. The game's prior update pattern showed posts roughly every two to six weeks, making the current silence — now extending well past that cadence — a concern. Several features from the November 2024 roadmap appear to remain undelivered. With no communication from the developer since February 4, 2025 and outstanding development commitments, there is genuine uncertainty about whether the game's development is continuing.
