Taxi Simulator entered Steam Early Access on March 31, 2022. The developer posted a single patch on April 3, 2022 — just three days after launch — and has not publicly communicated anything since. As of July 22, 2026, that is over four years of complete silence from the developer. The store description acknowledges the game is unfinished and promises more content will be added as revenue allows, but no roadmap, update, or developer post has appeared since that early April 2022 patch. The game remains in Early Access with no sign of movement toward a finished 1.0 release. Given the extended silence and the game's unfinished state, it is unclear whether development is still ongoing.

Maybe we've all wondered what taxi drivers go through, what difficulties they face, maybe we have dreamed of being a taxi driver. We designed this game to understand and explain what it is like to look at life through the eyes of a taxi driver.
You can grapple with all sorts of ordeals on a deserted mountain road and make your bread with your sweat, or you can manage a taxi station in the city and swim in money.

Taxi Simulator is being prepared by a young developer. The problems will be resolved as soon as possible. As the game generates revenue, more content will be added and optimized for the best gaming experience for you.
