Cast & Spell

Cast & Spell launched out of Early Access on June 28, 2025, with a notable update that added a new map, a new enemy, bug fixes, balance adjustments, in-game text chat, and performance improvements. In the lead-up to launch, the developer was very active — posting multiple times per week throughout May 2025, working through server issues, ranked game bugs, and player feedback at a rapid pace. However, since the June 28, 2025 launch post, there have been no further updates, patches, or communications about Cast & Spell itself. The only post from the studio after that date — on November 15, 2025 — announced the release of a completely separate game called Trialspire, developed under the same publisher (Hosthood Studio). This pattern suggests the studio's focus has moved on. The game is an online multiplayer title (PvP duels and co-op PvE), which typically requires ongoing server maintenance and community support to remain viable. The absence of any communication since the June 2025 launch — spanning nearly a full year as of today — leaves the game's future uncertain. No future content has been announced, and no statement has been made about the game being complete or discontinued.
