Caster

Caster launched on March 19, 2009 as a self-contained action shooter. The game shipped with a defined feature set — six attacks, two playable characters, three difficulty levels — and no post-launch content cycle ever developed. The only notable patch on record added an optional toon shading visual mode on May 28, 2015, a cosmetic toggle rather than new content. The most recent developer communication, from September 19, 2025, is an announcement about the developer's next unrelated game, Keys of Fury — confirming the studio is still active, but saying nothing about additional content for Caster. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no announced expansions, and no roadmap. Caster appears to have shipped as a finished product at launch with only minor maintenance in the years since.
