Evaluation

Orcs Must Die! 2 launched on July 30, 2012 and received four DLC packs — "Are We There Yeti?", "Fire and Water Booster Pack", "Family Ties Booster Pack", and a Soundtrack — all of which have been released. There are no unreleased DLC entries on the store. The developer's news activity on this game's Steam page since 2017 has consisted entirely of announcements about other entries in the franchise (Orcs Must Die! Unchained in 2017 and Orcs Must Die! 3 in 2021), with no patches, updates, or new content for OMD2 itself. Robot Entertainment has clearly moved on to sequels, and the last developer communication of any kind related to this game was in July 2021, cross-promoting OMD3. There are no outstanding content commitments, no announced future DLC, and no indication of any planned updates. The game launched as a complete, self-contained product and its post-launch DLC was fully delivered years ago.
