Evaluation
Castle Morihisa launched on February 10, 2022 as a complete roguelike deckbuilder with four playable classes (Monk, Samurai, Onmyoji, and Ninja). In the weeks following launch, the developer released a series of balance patches and bug fixes. On August 22, 2022, they shipped a single free DLC called "Miko," adding a fifth playable class with 67 unique cards and a new Lunar Phase mechanic. The August 8, 2022 announcement post teased the Miko DLC as upcoming — that content was then fully delivered with the August 22 release.
The one DLC listed on the store (Miko) is marked as released. No unreleased DLC exists, no roadmap or future content has been announced, and no developer posts after August 22, 2022 appear in the record. The last developer communication was the Miko launch post on August 22, 2022. The developer's closing note in that post ("We'll keep polishing the game to present the best possible game experience. Please stay tuned!") is a generic sign-off rather than a concrete commitment to additional named content. With no further posts across nearly four years since that date, and no outstanding promises, the game appears to have reached its completed state with the Miko DLC release.

About this game
After general Tokugawa of the shogunate issued the "Laws for the Military Houses" to his vassals, none of the emissaries sent to the Ishikawas in Castle Morihisa have returned. Rumors claim that Lord Ishikawa Shinjuku was attempting to usurp the throne, and that he closed off all roads to the castle a few days prior. The great metsuke Yagyū Munenori requires a spy to make their way to Castle Morihisa to learn the truth of what is going on.
