Cattails | Become a Cat!

Cattails launched on December 1, 2017 and received two major free content updates: the Custom Colonies Update on March 16, 2018 (which the developer described as completing all Kickstarter stretch goals and "realizing the vision for Cattails"), and the v1.3 update on December 28, 2018 (PC/Mac) and February 1, 2019 (Nintendo Switch), which added new marriage options, a daily task system, new active skills, and more. The v1.3 Switch release on February 1, 2019 is the last post-launch content update on record for this game. From 2022 onward, all developer activity has been focused entirely on the sequel, Cattails: Wildwood Story. The developer announced it in January 2022, launched a Kickstarter in May 2022, released a demo in June 2023, and launched the sequel on October 20, 2023. There have been no announcements of new content, patches, or updates for the original Cattails since early 2019. The only DLC listed is the Original Soundtrack & Deluxe Content, which was released alongside the game at launch. With all Kickstarter goals fulfilled, the v1.3 update completing the post-launch content cycle, developer focus having fully shifted to the sequel (which is now released), and no new content announced or implied for the original game, Cattails can be considered a complete, finished product.
