Causality launched on April 16, 2021. Following release, the developer (WAFFLE GAMES) issued a series of bug fix and balance patches through July 8, 2021, addressing gameplay issues, balance adjustments, and multiplayer/Endless Mode problems. The GhostNet online server experienced a disruption and was restored on November 26, 2021 — the last notable developer activity on record. After that server restoration post, no further updates, patches, announcements, or developer communications have appeared. The sole DLC is a soundtrack that released alongside the game on April 16, 2021, with no unreleased DLC listed. There are no roadmaps, announced expansions, or stated plans for future content. The developer has not communicated any intent to add further content, and the post-launch activity pattern — dense patching in the first few months followed by complete silence — is consistent with a game that shipped as a finished product and has since concluded its post-launch support cycle.
