Cell to Singularity is a free-to-play idle/clicker game that Computer Lunch has been expanding continuously since its November 2021 Steam launch. The game operates as an ever-growing simulation with multiple simultaneous content tracks. In 2026 alone, the developer has maintained a release pace of roughly every three weeks, as they themselves described in the July 30, 2026 announcement post. Major content shipped this year includes: Beyond E30: Cosmic Horizons (March 23, 2026), which concluded the "Beyond" cosmic content track; Industrial Revolution II (April 15, 2026), expanding the Civilization tree; Crustaceans (May 28, 2026), adding a new branch to the Life tree; and the Explore: Atmosphere – Upper Bounds event (July 2, 2026). Quality-of-life "Reboot" updates have also shipped regularly, with Reboot: Time Chamber (February 26, 2026) and Reboot: Nanobots (May 6, 2026) and the Nanobots: Expanded update (July 23, 2026). Most significantly, on July 30, 2026, the developer announced a major new expansion called **The Future** — five new content chapters ("visions") covering speculative futures for humanity, tied to a reworked path to the Singularity endgame. A closed alpha playtest is already recruiting participants, confirming this expansion is in active development. The same post announced upcoming Explore Events, including Explore: Pregnancy and a returning Explore: Cryptids event, further confirming the ongoing content pipeline. The developer has shown no signs of winding down. The game continues to evolve as a platform for ongoing content, with multiple tracks running in parallel and new expansions already announced and in testing.
