Chessaria: The Tactical Adventure launched on March 8, 2018 and received a burst of post-launch updates during its first year. Major additions included Online Multiplayer (April 19, 2018), the Hardcore game mode with 25 additional levels (June 13, 2018), a bug fix patch (September 7, 2018), extra content added to the Original Soundtrack DLC (March 7, 2019), and a final gameplay balancing patch on March 19, 2019. The only DLC — the Original Soundtrack — was released on August 23, 2018 and is fully available. After the March 19, 2019 update, Pixel Wizards has made no further developer communications of any kind. That silence now spans over seven years (through today, June 27, 2026), far exceeding any reasonable expectation of continued development based on the game's prior update cadence. The developer has not announced any future content, roadmap, or additional DLC at any point. The game launched as a self-contained tactical chess adventure with a defined 100-level campaign plus Hardcore mode, and all signs point to it having shipped as a complete product that received a round of post-launch polish before the developer moved on.
