Chicory: A Colorful Tale launched on June 10, 2021 as a complete, self-contained adventure game. Post-launch activity consisted of bug fix patches in the first weeks after release, followed by a substantial patch on May 30, 2023 adding Chinese, Korean, and Japanese language support — the first update in over a year at that point. On May 24, 2023, the team released an official digital art book as DLC, which appears to be the final piece of post-launch content. Both DLC items listed on the store (the soundtrack and the art book) have been released. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no announced upcoming content, and no developer communications since May 2023. The game launched as a finished single-player narrative experience, and no roadmap, season pass, or ongoing content plan was ever communicated.
