Citizens: Far Lands

Citizens: Far Lands launched on July 14, 2022. In the weeks and months following release, the developer issued several small patches addressing bugs, performance issues, and minor balance changes (July–August 2022), followed by one final maintenance patch on February 14, 2023 that added V-Sync and frame limiter options along with a few bug fixes. The developer posted a community questionnaire on August 28, 2022 asking players what future content they'd like to see, and the release announcement noted the team would "reach out with ideas for improvements, polish and perhaps even expansions." However, these were open-ended expressions of interest rather than committed announcements of specific content. No named DLC, expansion, or roadmap was ever announced, and no unreleased content appears in the store listing. After February 14, 2023, the developer has made no further public communications of any kind — no patches, no blog posts, no announcements. This silence spans well over three years. With no sustained post-launch content cadence (zero major content releases), no outstanding commitments, and no developer activity since February 14, 2023, the game appears to have concluded its post-launch support with that final maintenance patch. The game launched as a complete product and received only minor post-launch maintenance before going quiet.
