BufoProject has maintained a steady pattern of feature patches, adding new games (War and Jass arrived in November 2021), expanding rule variants, and improving AI across the collection. The most recent update, V1.8.0 on January 25, 2026, brought a completely reworked Skat AI alongside bug fixes for Rummy and Poker. Before that, V1.6.6 on January 25, 2025 added new rule variants for Blackjack, Rummy, and Doppelkopf. This roughly annual cadence of meaningful feature updates has been sustained across many years. As of today, October 8, 2026, approximately 8.5 months have passed since the January 25, 2026 update — within the roughly 12-month interval established by the historical pattern. No developer statement has indicated that development is concluding, and no specific future content has been announced.
