On May 20, 2026, the Closers World Service Team published an official notice announcing the permanent shutdown of the game's servers. According to that notice, all in-game purchases and new account registrations were disabled immediately on May 20, 2026, and the game servers were scheduled to go offline on June 24, 2026 — which is today's date. Customer support also closed on June 24, 2026. The store listing confirms the game is no longer purchasable. The shutdown announcement made clear that all game data, characters, and items would become permanently inaccessible after the service ends, with no recovery possible.
