Cloud Meadow

Cloud Meadow is an Early Access farming RPG from Team Nimbus that has been in active, sustained development since its 2020 launch. The game has received a steady stream of major content updates, with three significant story-driven releases shipping between June 2025 and May 2026: the Darkwoods Update (June 26, 2025), The Sunglades Update (December 18, 2025), and The Sunglades Update Part 2: The Creamery of DOOOOOM (May 18, 2026). This establishes a roughly 6-month cadence between major releases, and as of today (June 25, 2026) we are only about 5 weeks past the most recent one — well within the expected window for the next update. The developer has been transparent about the game's ongoing development. A February 2024 "State of the Game" post acknowledged a difficult 2023 (team turnover, a lead developer's hospitalization) but described a reorganized, expanded team pushing forward on story content and forest dungeon floors. A September 2025 post confirmed the art team was working on Forest Floor 3, and a May 2025 preview announced the Megalon Forest content would span 3–4 major updates, of which the Darkwoods and Sunglades updates represent the first two. The most recent update's patch notes describe sealing "story Act 2 Part 2," clearly implying further story acts are in development. The developer also released the game's official soundtrack as a standalone DLC in August 2025, the only DLC on the store listing, and it has already shipped. No unreleased DLC is currently listed. The game has no announced 1.0 release date, remains in Early Access, and is actively receiving substantial content updates. Anyone waiting for a "complete" version of Cloud Meadow should expect further major story and dungeon content to continue arriving.
