Evaluation
COLLECTION of SaGa FINAL FANTASY LEGEND launched on October 21, 2021 as a complete package containing three classic Game Boy RPGs (The Final Fantasy Legend, Final Fantasy Legend II, and Final Fantasy Legend III) with quality-of-life enhancements. The store description presents it as a finished collection with no mention of additional content, DLC, or expansions planned.
There are no DLC listings for this game, and the developer has never announced any post-launch content additions. The only post-launch developer communication relevant to this game was a minor bug fix update on October 9, 2025, which addressed small technical issues — consistent with routine maintenance on a finished product.
One news post from June 2024 (NEWS-2) promoted a separate Square Enix game, Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven, using this game's news feed as a distribution channel. This is not content for or development activity on the collection itself.
The game shipped as a complete, self-contained retro collection and has shown no signs of planned additional content at any point in its lifespan.
