WrestleQuest launched on August 21, 2023. Following launch, Mega Cat Studios committed to ongoing improvements and delivered on that promise with a series of post-launch updates. A roadmap published on August 25, 2023 outlined near-term quality-of-life improvements, which were delivered through patches in September and October 2023. A major "1.1 Mega Update Extravaganza" shipped on December 15, 2023, bringing a substantial set of new features including new combat mechanics, UI overhauls, and gameplay improvements. A bug fix patch followed on February 9, 2024, and the most recent update — version 1.2, released on July 12, 2024 — added new language support, inventory management tools, and additional quality-of-life refinements. The July 12, 2024 update concluded with the message that the team is "keeping the slams coming with balancing updates, bug fixes, and more," but no specific future content has been announced since then, and there have been no developer communications of any kind after that date. The game has no unreleased DLC listed on the store. The post-launch update pattern — two significant feature updates (December 2023 and July 2024) spaced roughly 7 months apart — suggests the studio was actively refining the game after launch, but no further updates have arrived in the roughly 12 months since the 1.2 patch.
