Romancing SaGa 2 (Steam App ID 606370) is the 2017 PC port of the classic 1993 JRPG. It launched on December 15, 2017 as a complete, standalone product. The only DLC listed is the original soundtrack, which was released on April 23, 2026 — a cosmetic/music add-on rather than a content expansion. The most recent developer communication is a bug fix patch from May 27, 2026, which addressed several issues but introduced no new content.
It's worth noting that in October 2024, Square Enix released a full 3D remake of this same game — Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven — as a separate product on Steam. Developer posts since 2024 on this store page have largely served to promote that remake. The original 2017 port continues to be sold and maintained (as evidenced by the 2026 bug fix), but no new game content has been announced or delivered for it since its launch. With only a soundtrack DLC and maintenance patches in its history, the game launched and remains a finished product.
