Evaluation
Common'hood launched on November 9, 2022 as a complete package — the developer explicitly stated before release that the story mode was finished and the game would ship as a finished product, not as early access. After launch, the developer delivered a series of updates focused on quality-of-life improvements, bug fixes, performance, and new sandbox/multiplayer stages: engine upgrades and key rebinds (January 2023), sandbox expansion and controller progress (February–March 2023), full controller support including marketplace overhaul (August 2023), and finally the Update 1.3.1.0 "Sandbox Stages" release on October 9, 2023, which added new multiplayer and sandbox environments across all factory areas. Since October 9, 2023, there have been no further developer news posts, no announced upcoming DLC, no roadmap, and no unreleased content listed on the store. The post-launch update activity — three feature patches and one major content update across roughly 11 months — has now been silent for over two and a half years (since October 9, 2023). No future content has been promised or announced, and the developer has not communicated any plans for additional updates. The game appears to have reached a stable, complete state with all post-launch improvements now shipped.
Evidence
Update 1.3.1.0 shipped new sandbox and multiplayer stages across all factory areas, along with bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements. This is the most recent developer communication on record.
Developer announced the full release, stating 'Our story mode is complete' and describing the launch as a finished product with story mode and a creative multiplayer mode.
