Evaluation
Contra Anniversary Collection launched on June 11, 2019 as a curated compilation of classic Contra titles, bundled with a digital Bonus Book containing concept art, franchise history, and developer interviews. The store description lists all ten included games explicitly, presenting this as a complete, fixed package with no mention of additional content, seasons, or expansions. There are no DLC listings, no roadmaps, and no developer posts announcing future content for the collection itself. The one news post in this game's feed — announcing Contra: Operation Galuga on March 12, 2024 — is a separate Konami title, not an update or addition to this collection. The collection shipped as a finished product and has received no post-launch content additions.
